This course provides a comprehensive overview of the major doctrines of the Bible, putting them in the context of a systematic theology. The "Target model" approach helps students to differentiate between doctrines to die for, doctrines to defend, doctrines to discuss and doctrines to dismiss.

Course Objectives
Upon completing this course you will be able to write out your own statement of faith. You will know what you believe and why you believe it. You will also be able to understand the legitimate differences Christians have as well as being able to identify that which is truly heresy.

Ken Ainsworth
Pastor Ken Ainsworth has retired from full-time ministry, but still fills Sunday pulpits from time to time. He also serves as the Learning Management Administrator for the Contenders Discipleship Initiative. He ministered with Village Missions from 2009 through 2018 as pastor of Canyon Community Church in Coram Montana. Before that Ken served in lay leadership at Machias Community Church and was the doctrine teacher for Contenders Bible School for many years. Ken’s secular career before becoming a Village Missions pastor was as a high school teacher and administrator.
